I was scanning and printing quite successfully with Acrobat 8.1.0 and Canon MX870 until about a week ago and then the Acrobat scanninjg function faltered. All non acrobat print functions direct from PC have not been affected. Upgraded to Acrobat X1 in the hope of resolving the issue but it has not done so. Acrobat X1 installed Ok but I'm still unable to print or scan using Acrobat X1.
Now getting very frustrated and disillusioned with the Adobe product and after sales service.
Any assistance would be welcome.
