Hi folks,
I set up a 2 camera shoot of a disabled dance company for Sunday aft and the guy I've worked with for years just told me his older DSR-PDX10 has bitten the dust and the second camera he will bring is a Sony HDR-HC1.
So, I looked in the capture settings for a Sony DV/HDV Device for this camera. Alas, no HDR-HC1 listed under Devise options. Searched the Cow Database, but find nothing direct for CS4, but rather some reference to versions CS1.5, etc. I do not have access to Final Cut.
The HDR-HC-1 has Firewire inputs/outputs which I can accommodate, but no reference to this camera in the Device Type setup for the specific camera.
What is the solution?
Can the other DSR-PDX10 play standard DV recorded tape from the HDR-HC1 in a pinch?
I have access to a Canon HV20A, but also see no reference to it in CS4.2.1.
I can find no specific help on the Premiere Pro Adobe site (I have the Sony manual, but it doesn't help that much.)
I see you can shoot in 4:3 AR and I wonder if I could blow the dust off my old VX-1000 (4:3) and could combine the two streams of vid???
I don't want to disappoint these folks as they want a two camera shoot for fundraising purposes and record of the event.
Any suggestions gratefully appreciated.
Thanks so much.
