PS CC 2018 video render problems: RAW filter, graphics driver, out of memory, and black frames

I know there are other similar threads to this one; but 1) I haven't seen any one else describe this exact issue; and 2) none of the "fixes" that were offered in other threads have worked for me.

The problem is when I try use Photoshop to do some color grading with the RAW filter (yes, I know AE and DaVinci's Resolve are supposed to be the best at this but I've never gotten results that I like--like I do with Photoshop's Camera RAW filter--despite being very clunky and super difficult to key frame among other things); and then render the output as either .h264, or TIFF / PNG sequence frames:  Recently, though when I tried to render a video; it results in the first 190-210 frames rendered just fine, followed by about 30 frames rendered with no color grading, and then the rest of the clip is rendered with black frames; a system crash, and/or spontaneous restart is also likely too.

The last time I used this feature was back in January 2018--and never had any issue.  Yes, I've tried earlier versions of Photoshop (2017 and 2015) and the results are the same.  I've tried every combination I can think of with Graphic Processor settings and Memory usage settings; but that doesn't effectively change anything other than different error messages when things go south; but the rendered output is the same.

I've also tried this on three different machines and get the same problems.

The first machine I noticed this on was my laptop with a GTX 1070 and 32Gb of RAM.  It was the last machine I had used to render (successfully) TIFF sequences back in January from 4K h264 mp4 100Mbps video.  I assumed something was wrong with my laptop--so I reinstalled Windows 10 TWICE--thinking each time perhaps there was some conflicting service or software that I'd inadvertently installed.  I disabled windows' updates and scrubbed any fragment of the GPU driver to ensure a clean install; even after a fresh re-install of Windows 10.

The reason I thought this was a GPU issue, is that the computer monitors would go black and flicker now and then; followed by either an error message saying graphics driver could not be started; or a complete lock up of the system or a spontaneous reboot.

When I tried disabling the GPU in Photoshop, I'd then get either an out of memory error or CEF Helper crash.  It didn't seem to matter whether I adjusted memory usage from 70% to 85%.

The second computer is a desktop with two AMD cards in crossfire but only 16Gb of RAM (it too used to have no issues).  It never registered a graphics driver problem, but always reports out of memory.

The third computer is very similar to the second except it's got one Nvidia card (more powerful than the two AMDs); and has 64Gb RAM.  It too always crashes with "out of memory".  The only difference here; is that it renders about 600 frames before rendering non-corrected frames and black frames.

I've tried reloading preferences; I've tried deleting all settings files (ie--ally ADOBE folders) under C:\Users\{user}\AppData\

I've tried versions 2017 and 2015 on ALL three computers; deleting all setting files that I know of; but each time I get the exact same result.

If anyone has any ideas--please please help me.  I've got three jobs I've got to finish yesterday...

Thank you.
