I've read other threads in this forum in getting started, but am unable to sort through problems I'm having hearing sound I have recorded.
One thread suggested I adjust the settings on my speakers in the Control Panel to match the settings in Audition, but that not only did not help in Audition, it also caused things like the sound on the YouTube video I was in the middle of watching to stop working.
I then tried a few things, none of which have worked. My most recent attempt to make things work was to set the computer speakers to the same settings as the Yeti mic's maximum setting (48,000/16/stereo) and then create a new file at those settings and record... as with other recordings I can see the waveforms and export a clip I can hear, but in Audition itself I hear nothing.
What can I do to resolve this? Is CS6 any better? All of the other Adobe products I use that involve sound (Premiere/After Effects) seem to be able to make things work fine, so I am surprised to find that I need to get right into the finicky level of adapting.
