Hello everyone. Please forgive my ignorance. I am not very good at computer things but if anyone can offer any help I'll do my very best.
I'm on a mac running Snow Leopard 10.6.3. With the help of Adobe tech support (another long story, the downloader hated me) I managed to get the CS6 Creative Suite with Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop downloaded and installed.
Photoshop will open and work fine, but when I try to launch Illustrator (the program I actually need) I get a message that says
"Configuration error, please uninstall the product, if this problem still occurs etc. etc. Error: 5"
Anyone know what's going on and, what would be best of all, how I can fix it?
ps. I think I posted this is the wrong place, so I'm posting it again here in the Illustrator forum *hangs head*
