Swap image problem in ie

Hi all,

I have created a spry nav bar and I'm using the swap image function to change the bottom portion of a page when a link in the nav bar is rolled over.  The page in question is here: http://websitesbycreation.com/bright.

For some reason in ie you can see some layers peeking out from others, and when the swap images take effect the original images don't disappear.  Can anyone tell me what is causing this?  I don't see the issue on any other browser on windows or mac.

I'm using Dreamweaver CS5.
