Lightroom Catalog corrupt. Can't be repaired.
I was uploading a photo shoot to Lightroom 2.7. A few minutes in, I got the following message:Lightroom encountered an error and needs to quit. There was a problem reading one of the Lightroom catalogs.
I quit and started again but received the following:
The last time Lightroom ran, it shut down prematurely due to a problem reading the catalog. Lightroom must now check the catalog before proceeding
After checking the integrity of the catalog, I got the following message:
The Lightroom catalog "Lightroom Catalog" is corrupt and cannot be used or backed up until it is repaired.
I clicked on REPAIR CATALOG. It looked like it was being checked/repaired but then I got the following message:
The catalog "Lightroom Catalog" is corrupt and cannot be repaired at this time.
I have been able to use a backup version of my catalog which is on my computer hard drive, but the catalog on my portable hard drive is the corrupt one. Why is that one corrupt, not both and how do I fix the corrupt one?
Please, please help.
