I was able to use nVidia GT 240 under Windows 7 with few problems. (Using hack whereby Mercury hardware support is enabled).
However, after upgrading to Windows 8, crash occurs as soon as any edit is implemented.
I am using the latest nVidia drivers.
I don't know whether this affects other nVidia chips.
Given that there is no official support for 6 series nVidia chips, I don't know what nVidia card I should upgrade to.
