Hi All,
Thanks for looking in. I just created my first FLA file and exported to SWF with a hyperlink, music and a few effects in it. Pretty nice. 750kb for a 40 seecond loaded movie.
I was checking out these links and tutorials:
http://www.adobe.com/devnet/createjs/articles/using-flash-pro-toolkit- createjs.html
http://www.adobe.com/devnet/createjs/articles/getting-started.html
I absorbed 70% of it on the first read and will play with the example tomorrow. I just want a better grasp of the firing order of this please.
From what I gather, and this is where my question's are.
Do I need to upload the assets (exported assets & Jsfile) from my HTML5 export from that FLA movie to a / my server, (if I do not use an SWF container) This is how a browser can aquire it and run it? Then I need to paste the JS code into my HTML page so a Browser will have the instructions? I am a bit confused on this HTML5.
That SWF movie I just created (mentioned above) in Flash Pro will need to be placed in a player & skin, right? Or I can use an outlet like Youtube and embed a player. As I have been doing in the past with my .264. / .mov files. However to get graphics like Yahoo is using on their splash pages. Like onclick(); mouse over, etc. So that the images play on top of the page and not in a confined player. Almost as though they are transparent on the page. I need to Export HTML5, upload assets to a server and create my HTML page for the layout. Right?
Sorry if I am a bit incoherent on my questions, but I am a bit confused. I was under the impression ( at least that is what Adobe's promo video's appear to do) that I can create a flash movie, export to HTML5 upload the folder, paste the JS code on the html landing page a viola' . I am a bit hazy on the js code for the html landing page. However I did get the CS6 Master suite which has DreamWeaver. If I recall, when I used it when it was DreamWeaver 5 that should help with the specific paths.. Please advise
Thank you,
