Does pse10 have a hidden scan icon/button or is necessary to always click field--> import--> etc.?

I use PSE10 to scan in old pictures that has been stored in albums. Some software has a scan button/icon up in the ribbon area but I have not been able to fine one in this program. Therefore I always have to click File, Import, and select the source in order to get a scan started. That is a lot of clicking when dealing with hundreds of pictures. Hopefully there is something I am missing. The help file has nothing on this subject.
