I am putting together a brochure and would like to add some texture to it in places. Not being a master of print I would like some opinions from those in the know if anyone is nice enough?
So I would like to benefit from some of the great patterns available now on the net but a lot of them are "pixel perfect" meaning a lot of single pixel highlights and lines and I am not sure what that would results as in the print world.
My entire layout is in Illustrator, but I would like to create a few PSD's to place in my document for wrapping certain text blocks, to add texture and contrast.
I put together a couple quick examples of what I mean. Could someone tell me how these would turn out when printed?
Thanks!
P.S. on the same topic, a common use on the internet is to use Noise to add a bit of texture, how would the use of noise turn out in the print world as well?
