Work around for G15 RAW in Lightroom 3?

I just purchased a Canon G15. One of the primary reasons I chose this camera was because it shoots RAW.

Unfortunately, I cannot import the G15's RAW files into Lightroom 3 (I can't upgrade to Lightroom 4 because I am running XP).

The G15 isn't on the Camera RAW supported list. I'm assuming this is because the camera is still new. The Canon G10, 11, 12, which all shoot CR2 RAW files -- the same as the G15 -- are on the supported list. I'm guessing that internally, these files are all the same.

Is there a workaround for importing the G15's CR2 files?

I'm guessing that Lightroom sees the camera isn't on the list and doesn't try to process the actual file. I tried using the DNG Converter program, but that doesn't even try to open the files.
