Adobe Analytics - Referrers in Report but not in Workspace

i have the problem that referrers are shown in the report suite in AA, like the preconfigured report in Traffic sources => Referrers.

But they are NOT shown at all in Workspace. For example in the Freeform table with dimension referrer. There I only see about four or five (only google entries).

Why is that?

There is an option to click "Try in workspace [NEW]" in the clssic Referrers Report screen.

But if I click there, a freeform table is shown that does not contain the data, shown in the reports table.

 

This seems to be a bug in Workspace?

Issues with Table numbering in InDesign 2018 on Windows system

Hi, everyone. I'm using InDesign 2018 on a desktop PC. Suddenly, the table numbering has gone wonky in two ways:

 

1. Mid-chapter, ID begins skipping table numbers, first one number, then another, then it continues normally for a while, then skips another.

 

2. When a table breaks over a page, I've always used the Table > Table Options > Headers & Footers dialog to repeat the header lines once per page but skip the first page, then added the required number of lines to the top of the table on the first page and copied the lines from the second page. I give the Continued table title a different style name, so it should not interfere with the numbering of the Table Title styles. I've never before had a problem with this, but now I'm getting one number on the continued title and the FOLLOWING number on the initial title!

These two issues do not appear to be related, because the first happens well before the second.

And meanwhile, the figure numbering is just fine. It's only the tables.

 

If anyone has suggestions to solve either issue, I'd greatly appreciate them.

I'm a little bit confused with color settings for my project since I don't have much experience with this issue and I hope someone will help me.

I need to upgrade my Microsoft Windows 10 computer to run Lightroom 7

Looking at a

Dell 5482 i7 2-1 Notebook

Intel Core i7-8565U processor

14.0-inch FHD 1920x1080 touch display

16GB DDR4 RAM

512GB M.2 PCIe NVMe solid state drive

NVIDIA MX130 2GB graphics

Windows 10 home

 

My concern is that some reviews I have read say it lacks half of the colors in sRGB

Is this a problem?

Should I look at something else?

Printing so paper is the white area - Photoshop

I'm pretty new to Photoshop in the modern world and struggling to get to grips with some basics.

 

I have a set of nautical pencil drawings that are about 50 years old that I need to prepare to print. I have the images in RAW format.

 

The paper has become discoloured over the years and I believe I should be able to select the area of off-white, so this does not get printed on and the printer paper is the white for this area. My attempts to adjust the colour to a suitable white have resulted in greys and creams that I need to lose.

 

Could anyone point me in the write direction. It's a steep learning curve.

Unable to view fields of large, form-filled PDF in Reader

Background info - business process includes many employees submitting form-filled PDFs for PTO, sick time, etc. to HR who then combines with a bi-weekly PDF printout from the company's time & attendance software with each employee's time - 100+ employees, each employee's detail is on an individual single page (so the report is always 100+ pages to start with), HR then inserts any submitted PTO, sick-time, etc. after each employee's individual page - the one HR person has full Acrobat 2017 to do this.

 

The problem is, anyone else in HR or any exec opening the combined report, which defaults to Reader, can't see any of the inserted form-filled PDFs...they just show as blank - can't even see the fields w/light-blue shading. Adobe Reader on any system I've tested has this issue - tried multiple versions of Reader including latest version - but viewing in Microsoft Edge works perfectly!

 

I'm sure this a system resource issue but I have the same experience on a heftier developer's laptop with intel i7, 8GB memory & NVIDIA graphics...but no issues whatsoever viewing in Microsoft Edge even on an i3, 4GB memory built-in Intel 4000 graphics card.

 

Is Microsoft Edge just that much better viewing large PDFs than Reader?  Is there some setting to tweak in Reader? Do not want to set PDFs to open by default in Microsoft Edge but unless I can find a solution, looks like I have to.

I need to create a workflow that does the following on submit:

 

 

Persist the data into Dynamic CRM using the form model

Creates the DOR (pdf file)

send email with pdf file attached

 

is this possible and how can you tell me the steps or components to drag? I have something like this below is this correct?

Captivate 2019 VR not working

When I select New VR project, the thumbnail in the Filmstrip is blank, and the large slide in the work area is blank with NO default button to import a VR asset. I can add hotspots to the blank slide, but although they appear in the timeline, they don't appear on the slide itself.

 

When I open the provided project "2019 Release - Virtual Reality.cptx", I can see the images in the filmstrip, but the large slide always appears white. Any hotspots or text I add do NOT appear on the slide, although they do appear in the timeline.

 

I had this same problem with the trial version of Captivate 2019, and with the purchased version which I just activated today.

 

Is this a problem with my computer? It's an HP running Windows 10 with 16G of RAM.

 

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

We have a team using Creative Cloud. As a security professional, we look for some alternatives to people don't use our passwords do open the Creative Cloud login.

 

So, is it possible in some way? I fist place i've thought about a Group Policy to enforce some policies to users login to Adobe Cloud, i've research the internet looking for Administrative Templates and I only found options for Adobe Reader.

la herramienta pluma no enlaza cuando lo paso por encima a otra linea , no ven que cuando pasas la herramienta pluma por otra linea salen del mismo color en este caso rosado y deberian como seleccionar  y al hacer clic se enlaza , en este caso no sale la seleccion ...  estaba bien y de la nada se puso asi :c ayudaaa

Embedded JavaScript on Tablet

Hi,

 

I am using a pdf file with embedded JavaScript. The file works perfekt on my laptop. But on my tablet (Android) and also on my Apple IPad the pdf file can not interpret the embedded JavaScript code in the textfields. I have used Adobe Reader.

 

My question is now: is there a pdf reader which interprets embedded JavaScript code in a pdf document for android or Apple IPad?

Hello Experts.

 

Has anyone came across a solution for integrating/Exposing AEM DAM  with Igloo?

Any suggestions, ideas would definitely help.

 

Goal I am trying to achieve is to expose DAM or part of DAM (AEM Author) on igloo platform for Igloo user's.

Both AEM and Igloo are protected using same IDP and accessible over the internal n/w so security is not a big concern.

JSFL - Resize a document, or export to larger PNG?

I've come to notice how limited the JavaScript API is for Animate compared to the features that are accessible through GUI elements like panes and menus. One such issue I'm facing has to do with exporting images - we're revisiting some old content to bring it forward from Flash to HTML 5 Canvas. I've written a set of JSFL scripts that have done things like detect whether a document's output is best suited as a static image or a movie, export it as such, and to do these tasks on batches of files to cut down on time spent and the tedium threshold - we're talking hundreds of files at a time. Because Flash's SVG exports don't seem to properly handle some text formatting correctly, I've opted to instead export "static" FLAs as PNG files just to get something out the door.

 

The problem here is that we're exporting for screens around 720p in size, and our average stage size across all files seems to be about 480p or lower. The JavaScript API documentation available from the Adobe I/O page for Animate indicates that document.exportPNG() should present an options dialog when I pass false as the second argument, whereas true would apparently use the settings entered last. This does not happen and exportPNG() just outputs a PNG file with the same dimensions as the stage.

 

I then thought, okay, I'll just have my scripts scale the stage up to a maximum horizontal or vertical resolution. Well, while there's a checkbox on the stage properties panel I can select to have Animate automatically scale my content with stage size changes, there's no apparent way to access this feature via the JS API, and trying to do it manually by iterating over every single element in every keyframe in every layer has shown erratic results, especially with text which at best becomes misaligned with other elements on the stage and leaves manual work still needing to be done, which is what we're trying to avoid.

 

Anyone got any insight into how to accomplish either task, barring diving deeper into Animate's inner workings and writing my own DLL extensions?

Clip mask issues: crop to clip mask and weird line?

Hey all,

 

First - I attempted to find something about these issues but failed. Apologies if this has already been discussed.

 

In the picture below you'll see an illustration with a circular clip mask. My first question: would it be possible to crop the object purely to what is visible, instead of including the clip mask object?

And then for my second issue: if you zoom in (as pictured below) on the bottom of the image, you'll see a weird line in the fill color of the clip masked object. What causes this and is it possible to get rid of it? Unfortunately it's also present in exports. It's very thin, but it's at the bottom between the two black lines. This is does not happen anywhere in the illustration with the exception of this part.
