Hello, I'm using Lightroom 4 currently and will like to jump to standalone version 6.14, I know this is not open for purchase but is there any option to purchase an upgrade from 4 to 6.14 or if that's not possible to obtain a license for 6.14? Thank you!

x79 chipset socket 2011 CPU upgrade options
Hi,
My current PC is based on the x79 chipset socket 2011. I am looking for options to upgrade my CPU. I will be mainly using Premiere Pro and AE working with 4k footage from the Panasonic GH5.
Considering that my motherboard is the ASUS® SABERTOOTH X79, from the list of supported CPU on ASUS' website, my best options are:
Core i7-4960X - 6 Core (3.6Ghz, L3:15M, 6C, HT, 130W, rev.S1)
Intel Xeon E5-2687W v2 - 8 Core (3.4Ghz,150W,L3:20M,8C,HT)
Intel Xeon E5-2690 v2 - 10 Core (3.0Ghz,130W,L3:25M,10C,HT)
Intel Xeon E5-2697 v2 - 12 Core (2.7Ghz,130W,L3:30M,12C,HT)
My question is, from the above, what would be my best option? should I go for the higher core count or clock speed?
I found most of the CPUs listed above for similar price range on ebay. So the price shouldn't really be a factor.

Smart Text Reflow is not working with javascript
Hi folks,
I have input files of XML and FST tables (tables in separate InDesign document).
The thing is that to import XML into an InDesign document* and then paste the FST table (by opening the FST table document and copying it as text) into the InDesign and save and close the document. It's all done through javascript.
*Destination InDesign document has enabled with smart text reflow (End of document); disabled the limit to primary text frame.
Text overset issue:
If the FST table is one page document, there is no text overset issue occurs in the destination document after pasting it.
If the FST table crosses over 3 to 4 pages, then text overset occurs in the destination document after pasting it. But the issue is not happens if destination document is not closed after pasting it.
The same issue was raised in adobe forum but still there is no final answer: Re: Primary Text Frame/Smart Text reflow not cooperating with my javascript
At present, I have resolved by adding a textframe in pasteboard and link the last page text to the textframe and remove it through javascript and then close the document.
Could anyone advise how to resolve it and why Smart text reflow is not working through javascript in this case?

Fraud concern with human signed signature on PDF
When a customer signs on tablet computer that is then printed as a PDF, will the signature automatically convert to an image (jpeg, PNG, BMP) or will it just render like the text? If I right-click a signature on a PDF and get the blue box and a "Save as" with image extension , does this mean someone added the image of the signature? I ask this because I signed on a tablet and see that the other party duplicated my signature somehow and put it into another part of the document that I did not see on the tablet or agree to. I realize this is probably fraud but I need to know if it proves my sig was added because I can right-click it and it gets the blue box and the Save As shows it is an image that can be saved on its own separate from document.

Inconsistent thickness of table cells in InDesign 2019 on macOS Sierra
Anyone have any idea why I am getting strange, inconsistent thickness rules at the top edge of a table? All the specs seem to be correct. Sorry, I don't know how to attach an image to show what I mean. Thanks in advance.

saveSetting to all AE versions at once
Hello guys,
How can I saveSettings to all After Effects versions at once?
Right now I am using this command to write:
app.settings.saveSetting("ScriptName","Pref_name","someVlaue");
And This command to read:
app.settings.getSetting("ScriptName","Pref_name");
And it saves me a preference settings for only one version of AE, for example I'm saving a preference setting for AE cc 2018 and when I'm trying to read this preference from AE cc 2019 It tells me that the preference doesn't exist.
I'm wondering if there is a way to save/read/delete preference settings for all AE versions at once?

Does Firefox now have a problem with this forum?
I don't seem to be able to access this forum with Firefox any more.
It's version 68.0.1 64 bit on Windows 10.
If I go to any page I just get a message saying -
"The page isn't redirecting properly."
"An error occurred during a connection to forums.adobe.com."
"This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies".
My cookie settings are fine as far as I can see, and I've never knowingly changed them!
The forum works fine if I use Microsoft Edge.
Anyone else seeing this? It certainly used to work fine in Firefox!

Can't delete templates
I'm using Adobe Sign on a monthly Individual Plan and I can't seem to see any options on how to delete document templates that I've created. I've read several posts on this forum, and researched the matter on the web but I have found nothing. I would really appreciate if someone could help me.

Alternate to Type on a Path for write on line?
Hi All,
I am seeking for a solution to layout the book with write on lines. The book has to have a different length of the line based on the answers text (please refer the picture below). For example, if the answer is just a character then the line length should be 6 mm and if it is a word then the length of the line should be 23 mm. If the answers are beyond these lengths then it can be extended to fit the text. When using type on a path, I will have to draw it and put the text on it and then insert it into the paragraph where it is required which is taking very much time and does not seem a good work to do.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Creative Cloudでフォルダの共有ができない
新規で作成したフォルダやデータは仲間に共有ができますが、
数ヶ月前に作った既存のフォルダを仲間に共有できません。
共有メールを送ろうとするとエラーが出て共有メールが送れません。
アカウントのサインアウト→サインインをやり直しても特に何も起きませんでした。
どなたか解決策を知っている人いませんか。

How to keep fonts from Word source document?
DC changes the fonts from the Word source file to ARIAL when converting to a PDF.
I know, in Preferences I can set a default font and font size for PDF conversions.
And I know, I can change the fonts by editing the final PDF - but obviously, that's comically manual for a cloud-based product.
Neither of these options are effective.
Basically, I want DC to pick up the font(s) and size(s) from the source document and apply them to the PDF.
In other (third party) PDF creators, this is easily doable, so the Adobe product must be able to do it, too?
I just chatted with DC customer support and they did not know how to solve this and suggested I pose the question to the community. I find it hard to believe that I am the first customer to encounter this issue.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Exporting Issues
Hello there,
I am trying to export my video for several weeks unsuccessfully., being this forum post my last resort.
I have two characters, one of them I seem to be able to export normally and successfully, but the main character is the main big issue - When rendering through Dynamic Link on After Effects, the rendering stops and I almost always get the error "(...) the file might be corrupted or damaged..."but the file is completely fine when I open it on Character Animator.
So I tried to export the video directly from CH and see what would happen - But a few odd things happen as well:
The character has a transparent background, so I chose the option "Video with Alpha via Media Encoder...", but the final video comes off as not having any animation at all, the original animation is about 10 minutes long but the video seems to render only some seconds and 1 static frame only. I tried exporting as .mov and as .mxf, both with the same issue.
So I tried "PNG sequence and WAV" and only a few frames of the 10-minute long animation are exported...
I don't know what else can I do, any ideas on why is this happening?
