I have many .pdf files scanned with scan snap ix500 scanner. When opening the files I am able to search on any word in the document to determine if it was converted via OCR. When I select the "Edit document" tool in Adobe DC I get the message "no editable text in this document". What am I missing?

Postscript Crashing since last update (Acrobat Pro DC)
Hi Guys,
Since the last update (2019.010.20091), my team and I have been having issues with our PDFs not postscripting, causing distiller to crash.
As background, we use another program (Nitro) to combine a range of documents, email messages, text files etc into a single PDF. We then open the PDF in outlook and save as a Postscript, and then use the postscript to create a usable file. The reason we use postscript is that not doing so interferes with another plugin we use for redacting information.
Prior to last week, which I can only attribute to the 2019.010.20091 update, this worked just fine. The key sticking point seems to be when an outlook .msg file has been converted to PDF by Nitro. (as in PDFs without those emails will postscript fine, emails with them in will crash)
We use Nitro because Adobe doesn't support bulk convert/combining outlook .msg files, and these are a substantial portion of the documents we deal with.
This is extremely frustrating, nothing has changed on our end in terms of process or software, other than Adobe breaking things.
Apologies if this is not in the right section, it's the one that made the most sense to me.

The problem occurs across multiple computers, with multiple combinations of documents, the commonality appears to be where the outlook files were involved.

3D Photo Animation - VoluMax, Photomotion....or something else??

I'm looking for a 3D photo animation solutions to use in After Effects...it seems like VoluMax and Photomotion (links below) are the leading solutions....does anyone have experience with either/both or can someone recommend another solution?

Export Collada .dae file from After Effects
Hello,
I have a After Effects project that consist of simple 3D animation. My client wants to use the 3D animation in ARTkit (apple iOS). The programmer asked for the animation in a .dae file. Can I do this in After Effects?
I found information on importing 3d objects INTO After Effects, but I can't seem to find much on EXPORTING 3D files in After Effects - especially in the .dae format.
Any advice? I did see a one plug in via google search but it was only supported by Windows.

Graphics cards and GPU in AE
I am looking to buying a new mac and wondered what graphics card have the right GPU support in AE? The cards in my old mac is no longer supported and I can not activate GPU...
The one I am looking at have these cards:
- Radeon Pro 555X with 4GB of GDDR5 memory and automatic graphics switching Intel UHD Graphics 630
- Radeon Pro 560X with 4GB of GDDR5 memory and automatic graphics switching Intel UHD Graphics 630

Will they give me full GPU support in AE CC2019?

Adobe Pr thumbnails
so I am planning to start editing videos and clips I will be making together and putting some stuff in to it and found out adobe Pr is the best thing for what I am going to do but what I need also is the photoshoot so I can create thumbnails for my videos "youtube videos"
so I am planning just to buy the adobe Pr but going for the 21$ plan not the 53$ which will give me all 20ish adobe programmers which ill be using just one of them so was thinking if there is a way to buy both in some way within each other like if you buy the adobe Pr you get to choose one program you will get
so is that a thing ?
and yes I know I can create thumbnails on adobe PP but is it like adobe PS ? like I can import a picture I have on my desktop and edit it "adding some random pictures " or that only works on adobe photoshoot ?

Unchecked "Lock Document After Signing" still locked.
In Adobe 2017, when digitally signing the document is always locked, regardless of whether the "Lock document" box is checked. I've gone through all the security settings and can't figure out what's causing this.
In previous versions, you could edit and verify your signature afterwards. In 2017, I receive a message stating "This document has been signed and can not be edited." What's stranger is that when this error message pops up, a revision is noted on the signature, and it requires verification. This behavior makes me think I'm missing something that is keeping the PDF locked, when "Lock document is unchecked."

Label & Ratings not working in Bridge
Hello Bridge Forum! I've Got a new iMac Pro and latest version of Bridge (9.0.2.2019) - we tag a lot of photoshoot images and I have lost the whole ability to Label (colour label the file with red: cmd-6 for example) or add a rating (Add a number of stars to a file eg with the number cmd-5 for a '5-star' image). When I press these keys it doesn't change in my thumbnail (content frame) or change in my filter frame. I am using (and have always used) 'Essentials' workspace. I've never had this problem before. And it's quite urgent the whole reason we use Bridge is for tagging and editing down our choice form big photoshoot reels - any help seriously appreciated. CP

Buzz when adding audio transition... ever again...
With Premiere Pro CC 2019 I have the same bug I see in the forums dating back to 2013. It's an intermittent buzzing on audio playback when placing audio transitions between two audio clips. Same problem occurs whatever crossfade transition I use: Constant Gain, Constant Power or Exponential Fade. Sometimes it disappears when closing and reopening the application. The problem seems to be more acute when placing several audio transitions on the same track.
And the noise is present when exporting.
I'm surprised this recurrent problem has not been solved after 6 years... Or do I miss something in the process ?
Of course I could crossfading out and in at every transition but it's a long process.

AE comp imported in Premiere. Color shift when exporting video
Adobe CC Pro CC v.13.0.2 Windows.
Anyone know how to fix the color shift when exporting from Premiere? I imported my After Effects comp in Premiere, which looks fine. It's only when exporting that the color shift happens. Top photo is what it should look like. Bottom photo is color shift.

Cropping in Premiere Elements 2018
I am in expert view and still cannot see the cropping tool. I have read everything I can find and can't find an answer. Here is what I see. No effects or fx to click on in the bottom toolbar. Clicking on it in the side toolbar only gives me motion and opacity. Help!!! Please and thank you!

Optimized proxy/media out of sync with audio on iOS
I made a project on my desktop using Adobe Rush and it created the optimized proxy and uploaded it to the cloud like usual. Then I go on my iPad to try to edit the project and the video is out of sync with my audio and it seems that the audio is slightly slowed down because my voice is deeper. Along with the fact that after the visual ends, the audio keeps going, even though it's not stretched out any longer in the timeline. I'd like to think this is a frame rate issue but I'm not sure.
The video format is:
1920x1080
60 fps
.mp4 format
It happens to all my clips and they range between 18-32 GB in size and they're all about an hour long. I've contacted Adobe support about this issue MULTIPLE TIMES and none of them have been able to help me.
To clarify: this only happens on my iPad Pro after optimized media from my desktop has been uploaded to Creative Cloud and downloaded to my iPad. When I import directly to my iPad, it works flawlessly. The reason I can't just import from my iPad and go is because for one, it's a 32 GB file that I'd have to download to my iPad, then reupload. And second, I've already tried it and the video doesn't even show up in the camera roll for me to be able to import.
If someone can get to the bottom of this and help me out it would be greatly appreciated.

Prevent imported slides (powerpoint) from advancing when clicking on screen
I imported a group of 60 slides from powerpoint (pptx 2013) into my Captivate 9, however, I've noticed that by doing this, slides advance when I click anywhere on the screen even if I deleted the clickbox that I thought triggered this action. What I did was to disable this action directly in powerpoint and I didn't click "high fidelity" when importing into captivate. Nevertheless, by not clicking "high fidelity", the fonts of some slides get changed, so I need to click it. So, my question is, is there any way in which I can prevent the slides from advancing and having high fidelity clicked at the same time?

Media Pending Forever, Export Problems, Etc Etc Etc
Everything was working fine a couple months ago.
However, all my media was scattered around in different drives/folders. I consolidated them all into one drive/folder, and relinked everything within Premiere. It seemed to be successful.
Now I am trying to do another export of the timeline in higher-quality and it just gets stuck forever. I noticed that all my clips are displaying "Media Pending" and even if I let it sit for a full day, nothing changes.
I tried several solutions I found online including:
- Close large timelines and bins, save, close and reopen Premiere (no effect)
- Un-enable and re-enable all clips in timeline (no effect)
- Delete and reload Premiere's preferences (no effect)
- Make small tweaks to a clip, such as adding a cut or removing/adding a frame (no effect)
- Create a new sequence and copy-paste everything from the old one into the new one (no effect)
- Started a new project and attempted to import the sequence from the old one (displayed no sequences from old project)
None of this has worked.
The timeline claims the media is "offline", which begs two questions:
a) Why doesn't it just say "Media Offline" instead of "Media Pending"?
b) What was the point of spending all that time relinking my media after I moved my files?
The one thing that HAS worked is restarting my computer; I was able to successfully get my timeline to display all my media—HOWEVER when I went to export the timeline, it hung up at 1% telling me there were only 6 minutes remaining (which I know could not be true, since several months ago when I exported a version half the size/quality it took 2 hours).
As always, queueing it Adobe Media Encoder fails (this seems to happen about 95% of the time I use AME)
I need to get this exported within the next couple days and since it needs to be maximum quality, I know the render is already going to eat up a lot of that time so I need to find a solution quickly...

Is there Lr CC Selective Cloud Storage?
Hello All!
I have been trying to figure out how to choose which lightroom CC albums are synced to my Adobe CC cloud and which ones are just stored locally.
I am using Lr CC (non-classic). I have well more than the 100GB of cloud storage in saved photos, but I only want to sync the ones I am actively working with to the cloud for editing on the go. The issue is that I have tons of photos I don't want or need access to from mobile that have auto-synced to the cloud as they were imported from my desktop into lightroom.
Is there a way to tell Lightroom which photos, folders, or albums you want you want to backup in the cloud and which ones you just want to edit / have accessible? If not, this seems like a feature a lot of people would take advantage of.
I constantly have to delete photos out of lightroom on my desktop to make room for more recent uploads to sync.

Syncing audio between two clips in different languages?
I have a project I need to get done, and I need to sync audio between those two. They have different languages, but they have similar sound effects in them at the same time they are supposed to have it, meaning only the language is different.
I also want to add that I want to add that, I want the video to one video, and keep the video audio to my other source. Is this possible to archieve and match them up correctly so it's timed well?
