Hi all,
I'm fighting with a situation where everything is off sync in my 23.976 export OMF from Avid.
I think I've narrowed it down to an Audition bug, but I have no idea where or if I can fix it.
The problem appears to be that Audition is assuming everything is at 24 and does all it's calculations for where cuts etc should be based on this. You can see in these screenshots that as soon as I change it to 23.976, the start timecode gets thrown off below 01:00:00:00 (regardless, everything is out of sync, this is just adjusting the time display).
By contrast, when I import an AAF from the same timeline into Premiere, the start time is correct and all the clips are in sync. However, I loose, for some reason, crossfades and pan and other work I've already done, if I have to go the PP route. About the only thing it's saving is keyframing. The other work isn't missing in Audition OMF, if only it could count correctly or I could tell it the correct settings of the OMF before it goes through and generates the cuts from it. Premiere had this exact same issue before they updated it and fixed it recently.
Any thoughts, possibilities to get this working?
Thanks!
