A few years ago I downloaded CS4 off the internet. In addition to this download I ordered a cd of CS4 in case I had a system failure I wanted a back up. However, I never used the cd because I had the install on my computer from the internet. I upgraded my computer to a laptop and am trying to install CS4 on to it. It installs to about 90% and then the progress bar stops. I then get an error message that says "
The Finder can’t complete the operation because some data in “AdobeDeviceCentral2-mul.dmg” can’t be read or written.
(Error code -36)"
I called Adobe and the customer service person told me my cd was faulty and I need to get a new Photoshop CS6. I have never even used this cd. Is this seriously my only option? They sold me a faulty cd and now I need to spend more money?? Please tell me someone else can help??
Thanks
