Hi,

I have created a project that contains bookmark links to locations both within the same topic and to locations in a different topic. When I generate the project in Responsive layout, the links do not work in mobile browsers (Safari, Chrome). They work fine on desktop.

First, or links within the same topic, pressing on the links in the mobile browser shows that some additional text is added to the link in the form: ?random=1b1falkfh... This text is included after the ".htm" of the link parent topic and before the "#" of the bookmark.

For example, a link to the bookmark "step_c" shows:

  http://www.mysite.com/manual/topic_2.htm?random=1b1fbn7fl_0egkh2j80#step_c

Second, links to a different topic simply go to the top of that topic, not to the bookmark. These links do not appear to be corrupted, they just don't function properly.

I generated this same project as Webhelp and these links all work properly in mobile browsers. It seems as though the Responsive layout is corrupting the bookmark links.

Please advise on fix. I am using RH 2015 rel. 3.

I'm trying to create a movie clip which plays an animation on mouse over, then animates to the original state on mouse off. Basically this Original Hover Effects with CSS3.

I've created a movie clip called "button01_mc" which from fame 1 to 10 animates in, then from frame 10 to 20 animates out. Frame 1's labeled as "Over" and frame 10 is labeled as "Out". They both have the action "this.stop();".

My code on the main timeline is:

It's work, playing the Over and Out animations when triggered, but if the mouse is on the object and I move the mouse to a different part of the object, it plays the animation again. So every time the mouse overs it triggers the Over animation. How can I stop that happening? I tried setting "stage.enableMouseOver(3);" to "stage.enableMouseOver(1);", but then nothing happens at all when I mouse over it.

I cannot install Adobe Acrobat DC on my brand new MacBook Pro. It keeps telling me that there was a problem installing. Below is the message I get when I click on more information.

I downloaded Ps, Ai and Id from creative cloud with no problem but acrobat will not install. I have tried many of the forum fixes that I have read but with no luck. How do I resolve this issue so I can use Acrobat? I can only see pdf's in preview. Please help!

I have an HTML5 Animate app that I am developing that has a hierarchical movieclip/symbol structure, there is no timeline based animation, all animation is implemented by JavaScript.

I have JS functions on the first frame of the main timeline that need to access/use symbols that are embedded in a symbol. The problem I have is accessing the embedded symbols from within various functions/methods.

The only thing I can get working is something like:

     function Something()

     {

           exportRoot.Symbol1.Symbol2.text = "replacement text";

     }

To change the text of Symbol2

However I am aware that using exportRoot is not ideal. To me it's like accessing global variables from within a function.

I have tried:

     function Something()

     {

          stage.Symbol1.Symbol2.text;

     }

This doesn't work. (but stage.Symbol1 does access the first symbol!)

Is there a more elegant solution?

I've been trying to open a premiere pro project on a different machine with all assets located in a different root directory. Normally I'd expect premiere to bring up a re-link dialogue but instead it opens straight into my project showing all media offline. When I select media to re-link it looks like the file name and file path are all screwed up (image attached). Because of the odd file name I have to relink each clip individually, one by one. Any ideas on how to resolve this issue? Is there a way to reset the file names of all media in a project?

When I use the selection tool to highlight a blue box (area on a page) of an area I want to print, I can't get it to come up as an option to print just that area. I don't want to print the current VIEW, I want to print JUST THE AREA I'VE SELECTED.

My only options are:

1) All

2) Current page

3) Pages... (fill in range)

then:

More Options

4) Current view

5) Odd or Even Pages (pull down menu for all/even/odd pages)

I swear on an older version I was able to print just what I had selected, so I could essentially "blow up" an area of a page and print on whatever size paper I wanted. Why do I have the new/fancy version and have less usability than in previous versions? What am I missing? Is the option hidden somewhere in a menu I can't find?

I am new to Captivate and recently purchased v.10 (2017). I am having two technical issues:

1. When previewing the project, each slide flickers with a white flash whenever the mouse moves. I don't have flickering issues in any other program on my desktop. I've tried compressing and decompressing the files and nothing seems to help. The project so far is only 9 slides long, has a video for the title slide, and audio embedded throughout most slides.
2. My second issue involves publishing. I am publishing it as HTML5 but it is showing up as a blank screen. I have tried publishing in IE, Edge, and Chrome. There aren't any error scripts or text that show up--it's just a blank screen.

I tired to get my PDF Saves from Chrome to Open in DC. It opens in regular adobe.

I went to the Adobe App on my phone and it said to click the drop down in the upper right hand corner. I do not have the PLUG IN at the top of the of the Drop Down. Also it doesn't look like the ICON showed on the screen.  Mine is only 3 dots.

[I am using Acrobat DC Pro on Windows 10]

I have a master form that users (employees) fill-in containing, among other things: name, address, gender, marital status, contract number, user/employee's name, etc.  I also have other documents, like internal product order forms, internal service order forms, and contract; these all need a lot of the same information that is collected on the master form.  The master form populates these other forms when merged/combined.

My 1st problem is that these different forms all have different font size constraints for the same data (ie date of birth) -which is beyond my control as they must match our preprinted (blank) forms (to keep the auditors happy).  The master form's 'date-of-birth' text field is set to font size 12.  On the contract form, we don't have enough space to have it print/show at this size, so the size is set to 'Auto'.  For some reason when the two PDF forms are merged using the 'Combine Files' tool, the 'date-of-birth' text field does not (no longer) auto reduces the text (in this case a date) down to fit within the allotted space (text field box).  Going in to the 'Prepare Form' tool, double clicking the 'date-of-birth' text field, and manually changing the font size does nothing -no change is visible.  The text remains the same; even changing the font has NO effect.

My 2nd problem is that sometimes (on different text fields) the font AND size change after using the 'Combine Files' tool.  This usually happens to:

a text field that, on the master form is hidden and populated by combining other visible text fields via javascript (example:  text field 'FullName' is hidden on master form and is populated by javascript firing via the 'On Blur' Action of text fields 'FirstName' and 'LastName').  On the other documents/forms that use the 'FullName' text field (set to Visible on these documents/forms), sometimes the font AND size is different/changed from the field's preset settings.  Changes do not take effect and will not react when I go in to the 'Prepare Form' tool, double click the text field, and manually try to change the font size.

Have not been able to print PDFs in about 6 months.  I am running Windows 7 Professional.  I have a brother printer with the latest drivers.  I have tried re-installing the drivers.  I have also uninstalled Acrobat DC and reinstalled it.  Nothing seems to help. 

I can however print JPGs etc from the same computer onto this printer.  I have hooked it up via USB and still get the same message when trying to print a PDF from Acrobat DC.  First "the document could not be printed", press okay on that.  Then, "An error occured while printing the document".

I am currently working on cruise ship and have very limited internet access - only when in port and then very poor connections.

Premiere CC 2018 crashes on start up with "Premiere CC 2018 has stopped working" error.  (Was working the day before joining the ship)

I have tried a complete reinstall of the Premier - took well over an hour at an internet cafe!!  But not difference.  I have tried checking for graphic card driver updates - there are none.  I have tried rolling back the graphics driver.  I have tried disabling it.  All have made no difference.

Can anyone suggest anything else I can try.  Preferably without out putting the laptop on line as that is not easy to arrange.  (I can check message on my phone or iPad).

Hello PGB community, i've identified different problems on some basic new versions of Cordova plugins.

For your information i'm using CLI 7.0.1

- cordova-plugin-camera (v3.0.0 and v4.0.0)

PGB creates the Android and iOS builds correctly but on Android the "Camera/camera" prototype is not present, thus the plugin is unusable

- cordova-plugin-file (v5.0.0 and v6.0.0), cordova-plugin-file-transfer (v1.7.0)

PGB fails to create builds for iOS and Android caused from a depedency with file-transfer (v1.7.0) and file (v.5.0.0)., here's the log:

I've tried to build file-transfer (v1.7.0) and file (v.5.0.0) but it failed on Android with the following error:

- cordova-plugin-geolocation (v3.0.0 and v4.0.0)

PGB creates the builds for iOS and Android correctly, but on Android the get current location feature doesn't work because there's no permission dialog present for such action.

Hi,

I have an issue whereby whenever Premiere is open, I cannot preview / play video on any other program or browsers. Only when I've exited Premiere and restarted other programs that were open at the same time (e.g. After Effects) or refreshed browsers, am I able to view video again. I can't figure out how to stop Premiere from stealing the show!

Any thoughts anyone?

I've had the Morph Cut transition applied for days without it getting closer to finishing analyzing. Is it stuck?

I've also attempted to close Premiere, restart the computer, open it and re-applying with no luck.

It's only 12 frames long. I didn't have this issue prior to the 2015.2 (9.2.0) update. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I am no longer able to build any of my projects. Both the iOS and Android projects fail to build. I was able to build these projects as recently as 30 minutes ago.

Issues: No more Adobe Flash Player Support in 2020.

According to Adobe Blog, Flash & The Future of Interactive Content | Adobe Blog,Adobe has decided to terminate its support for flash player. Will Adobe Acrobat Professional DC continue to support the embedding of videos?

According to the following sources

1) jeromiec83223024 ,your fellow colleague from Flash development team, has explained to me that I can embed H.264 videos in Acrobat PDF provided Acrobat PDF has native support for H.264 playback. Please confirm whether the H.264 playback is available for Acrobat Professional DC 2017 ?(See End of Life Support for Adobe Flash Player. How to play video in PDF  for details)

2) Add audio, video, and interactive objects to PDFs in Adobe Acrobat  has also suggested that I can embed H.264 videos.

But I have verified that cannot embed video files via Acrobat "add media"-"add video" function. Acrobat will prompt me with an error message and prompt to install flash player to embed video.

Hence, please verify the following:

1) Does Acrobat professional DC 2017 has native support for H.264 playback

2) Does Acrobat professional DC 2017  allow user to embed H.264 video without the need to install flash player

3) Why Acrobat does not automatically realign the text within a paragraph whenever I add a new line of text? Say I have 3 paragraphs of text that occupy the entire page. I expect Acrobat to push down the 2nd and 3rd para when I type in additional text in the 1st para. Please advise.
