InDesign CC 2019 performance issues / crashes
Is anybody else having major performance issues with InDesign or having crashes? I can't move some textboxes (it just hangs until a couple of seconds), sometimes the program crashes after I moved a textbox. This started after the update to the recent version...and it's annyoing as hell!

Importing a large number of pages into InDesign
Hi, I need to import 150 pages into ID. I think it is impossible to do so from Pages so I already converted the document into Word. I have tried using the Place method, but I have no idea how to make the text display in the number of pages I need, at least not in a quick way. I can tell my alternative would be copy pasting each page, but I'd like to know if there's a better option. The document has a lot of footnotes too.

Whats first? Time Remap or Warp Stabalize?
Hello All,
So I've been doing so work with time remapping and warp stabilizing. I have been nesting the slip with one effect then apply the other effect to the nested comp. I was curious if anyone knew the optimal way to do this as far as the order goes? Meaning is it better to first time remap the clip to your liking and then nest and warp stabilize? or is it better to warp stabilize the original clip and normal speed, nest that and then time remap the already stabilized clip. I have been time remapping and then stabilizing after but didn't know if there was a definite way this should be done. Please let me know your thoughts and link me to any possible source that could help.

affect shadows or midtones only in camera raw?
I like using the Camera Raw Filter in a Smart Object to edit exposure, highlights etc. for the flexibility of reverting back to th original file. However, I need to lighten the shadows and some midtones while leaving highlights alone. Can I do this using Camera Raw? I know the dodge and burn tools do this but I would like to make non-destructive edits to the image. Thanks!

8.0 Release Book Module
I've just updated LR Classic CC to Release 8.0.
I have a book that I have been working on that I am trying to edit, however my text edits evaporate when I exit and re-open. This is highly frustrating as I can't actually make and save changes/ corrections to my book. Changes to my photos using the develop module appear to be functioning and saving normally.
Also, no matter which page was highlighted when exiting, LR Classic CC Book Module always opens to the same page (I think it is the page that was highlighted when I did the update to Release 8.0).
Please please please can somebody help me with this, I have a lot of re-work to do (because they are edits I have only just noticed the issue) and I'd really like to have my confidence restored in using this feature (the Book Module) which has improved so much with its usability in the last few months through a few subtle changes.

Adobe Illustrator cc 2019 "not enough memory (RAM)" issues running on Mac Pro
I just installed the latest version of Adobe Illustrator cc 2019 and after running the app for about 2-4 hours I begin to get this error message "not enough memory (RAM)", followed by a crash! I'm running on a Mac Pro latest OS - version High Sierra (10.13.6) with quad 1866 MHz DDR3 ECC. I've never experienced this issue prior to the upgrade and I ran the last version of Illustrator on the exact same computer -- I have since added a secondary Scratch Disk (external drive - currently all I have), and the issue has yet been resolved.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

CSS Variable
I have started using CSS variables and Dreamweaver CC ver 19 shows an error saying that it expects a RBRACE at line 4 col 5

Premiere 2019 timeline lag on iMac Pro 27"
Since the Premiere Pro CC 2019 update (version 13.0 (build 225)), timeline updates are much slower.
Scrubbing the timeline sticks and jumps. Doesn't matter if footage has no adjustment/ effects applied or not. Although, adding effects (lumetri color) makes the lag worse.
Adjusting scale and position on clips in timeline from effects panel takes 3 - 5 seconds to update new parameters. Before update, adjustments were in real-time. Very frustrating when adjusting 4k in a 1080 timeline.
All premiere projects are being effected by the lag after the update.
Please advise.

Playback and Render issues with PP CC2019 (and earlier..)

I've been having a lot of issues regarding timeline playback, moving files in the sequence and minor renders (not exports)..
Weirdly I am getting significantly better performance on Machine 2 then I am on Machine 1 even though the specs should outway the other by a long shot.
I mainly shoot basic videos, add transitions and on some occasions move over to AE and edit Typography, Visual Graphics and Special Effects etc. (more very heavy duty timelines). On this occasion I haven't even been able to finish cutting my sequence.
I have been working with Sony A7SII footage, 4K(UHD) 25fps 100Mbs, Flat Picture Profiles, MP4 format - 50GB worth of footage total.
When importing the footage into PP after syncing in PluralEyes, playback is very slow, jittery or freezes while audio continues to play.
Pause Res is set to 1/2 - Playback Res set to 1/4 - HQ Playback set to OFF - Size set to FIT
Sequence Settings (tried various) currently DNxHR UHD, also tried DSLR 1080p and Custom LQ settings and others - Video Preview set to 1280x720
No Plugins, Nothing more than a Letterbox Template file, Audio and Footage.
Below is a list of where the files are stored and where the cache is located. All drives have at least 100GB Free, R/W Speeds on BlackMagic Disk Speed Test say suitable for 2160p60 (2160p30 lowest).
I can run the footage smoothly, organise my sequence and cut and play back smoothly with Final Cut Pro X, VLC and other video playback softwares on both machines with no playback or stutter issues so I know my system can handle it fine. I have been having these issues from CC2015 where I moved away from Adobe for most of my important work. Only to use AE and PS.

I can't download my Scripts on Adobe Story?! HELP!!
I got an e-mail stating that Adobe Story is no longer going to be in service next year so I panicked. The E-mail also said that I can download my scripts offline I believe, but the problem is I went on the website and I clicked on the "download data" and a message popped up saying that it will take several hours for the information or more instructions. So I waited almost two days without a response and I'm panicking because I worked so hard on all my scripts and if something happens I'll go crazy if anyone can help me please respond.

Why is Raw filter editing crashing PS 2018?

pproheadless.exe Crashes during encoding
I am having issues with pproheadless.exe crashing in the middle of encoding a video. Not sure why yet. This is a new issue for me and I am still trying to troubleshoot it. I just wanted to see if anyone else is having the same issue.

Random number generator excluding any numbers with a certain digit
I'm using a random number generator for numbers between 0-999, but I want to exclude any number with a user-given digit. So let's say the user enters the number "3" into a text field and I want the number generator to exclude any numbers with the digit 3 anywhere in the number. I'm new to Javascript as of yesterday and scoured through the forums with no luck. All I found was this: Math.floor(Math.random() * 1000). PLEASE HELP!

Failure to install Adobe Acrobat DC
My failed attempts to install this crucially important tool is really irritating me.
I have just bought a new computer running windows 10. I have uninstalled google and anything adobe-related. The last failure to install had "code 1920 print spooler failed to start".

Adding a countdown timer to PDF form
Hi all,
I've a need to add a countdown timer to a PDF from created using DC Pro, and have found one example by Thom Parker, which is very nice - but sadly doesn't work on an iPad - any way around this that anyone knows of? guessing its all down to the way both at an app level, and also the iOS level, as to how the JavaScript is handled?.
