Good morning,

Given the numerous problems of various types encountered lately with Premiere Pro, I was advised to update my CPU.

I generally use Adobe Premiere, Photoshop and Illustrator. With the premiere in Full HD, 4K and occasionally with 6K.

I would like a processor that allows me a good workflow on the timeline, both in playback and applying effects, obviously setting depth of Bit etc. at most.

My indecision is between an Intal i7 8700, an i7 7700k and a Ryzen 7 2700x.

My current processor is an Intel Core i7 930 2.80MHz.

Hello,

 

I've got two video clips with audio and two audio clips, from a 2 camera, 2 lav mic interview set up (see pics, which have been synced roughly by eye to show match).

 

I want to sync these together using audio and edit them in a multi-camera sequence. When I try to do so, I get this message:

 

"Overlapping clips are audio-only. Multi-camera source sequences require at least one video clip."

 

When I brought all of the clips into a normal sequence, to check I had the right clips and that the waveform/visuals matched up, they did (see pics). However when I tried to sync them up in this normal sequence, I get the message:

 

Audio synchronize failure

"Could not synchronise one or more clips in the current selection because a match could not be found."

 

The 5 channels of audio available all clearly match (see pics), both by eye and by ear, as do the two video clips. Can't work out why they won't sync and would greatly appreciate someone's help with getting these into a happily synced up multi-camera sequence.

Okay, I installed all of the cc2019 updates and Bridge (worked normally on cc2018) started to behave crazy. I mean all works except preview thumbnails. I get some kind of "static interference" pattern instead of previews.

I completely uninstalled and reinstalled Photoshop and Bridge to solve the issue but no luck.

 

Computer is iMac Pro 27".

On my old iMac 27" (2011) it works normally after the update.

 

 

 

 

Any idea?

I see in the FAQs Telestream Wirecast can be used to use with Skype
But $1000 is a bit steep for me just to do fun Skype calls

 

Anyone have any other ways to set your characters as an virtual camera?

I am out on cruise ship.  Sometimes internet works but more often then not it does not.  How can I use LR and PS from my creative cloud account when the ship's internet is not allowing a connection with Adobe Servers?

Is there a way to stop lightroom mobile from syncing all photos on my phone? And to remove all the photos it's already synced without deleting them from my phone?  I only want lightroom to sync photos i specifically tell it to sync. It's already uploaded a batch of photos I didn't want it to, and if i just try and delete them from lightroom.adobe.com it says it's going to delete the photo from all synced devices as well. (who is the genius that thought it's a good idea to delete photos everywhere without giving the option to only delete locally?)

 

I just turned off auto add in the preferences so I'm guessing that will stop LR from adding any more photos. But how do i remove the ones it's already synced without deleting them from my phone?

I have used the below procedure by Photoshop Essentials numerous times to successfully to give images a water color look. After the latest Photoshop CC update the process no longer works and, at the end of the prescribed steps, the image remains completely unchanged. I cannot figure out why and I would appreciate your insights. Thank you!

On importing I use Custom file name and set the start number sequence.  I select File Name & Sequence number,   On import there are extra numbers added after the sequence number.  In some cases the extra numbers appear to be the total number of photos on card at that point where the photo is imported (e.g., if I import ten photos and select to number them 1 through 10 but they are the 200 to 210 photos on the card, the displayed sequence number will be 1200 through 10210); however, this may not be true for all cases.  At any rate, how do I stop the extra numbers from being added to the sequence number I have selected?   Using LR 6 stand alone.

i have recently added some images to Adobe stock and have made a few sales. i would like some explanation of the royalty/commission payments. i see that the images are for sale at £5.99 but i have received commission of 19p - was i wrong for thinking the 33/35% royalty payment would be that percentage of the price?

Hello,

I just bought the new Canon EOS M50, which saves the pictures in .cr3-files.
Normaly I used the DNG Converter to convert all my photos to .dng-files.

But now, I can not even select one of them to convert.

 

Is it possible that this file format is not yet supported? (I did not find a list with all supported formats...)

 

Does anyone know, when this format will be supported? (The camera is available since february this year...)

 

Is there another way to convert this type of file?

 

I am happy for every answer I get. Maybe someone has a hint for me.

Hello,

Distort tool does not working after last update. When you select are with marquee tool and try to use distort to increase photo, it does not working.

Please advice.

On the macbook pro 15" mi-2012 with nvidia graphics 560m, the grading is the same in premiere and the export.

On the new macbook pro with amd graphics, it changes. I've made the same output on both macs with the same specs, the results are different...

I have an iMac, I have installed elements 13 no problems. tried to install updates, it gets 50% through then it asks to close elements director agent.

How is this done.

Hello,

Since updating to Version 2019 i get this error all the time and sometimes not all the time now:

 

Export Error Error compiling movie.  Accelerated Renderer Error  Unable to produce frame.  Writing with exporter: H.264 Writing to file: \\?\E:\Media\Masters\JL-102418-Mas.mp4 Writing file type: H264 Around timecode: 00;55;22;52 - 00;55;23;24 R

 

Pretty much making it unusable for me - i can't export any thing right now.

 

Next problem: Under Lumetri Look/LUT, the LUT bug has still not been fixed - how is this possible? Totally unacceptable in my opinion. You select your LUT in AME and you see the change in the preview window, but it still says: Applied NONE. And the LUT never gets applied to the exported file even though visually you see the change in the preview monitor. Very sad that this bug has not been fixed.

HELP!

 

I have Premiere Pro in Creative Cloud on my iMac running High Sierra 10.13.6 and it's all legit software for everything. However I have a beast of a problem which is driving me mental which is when I see a prompt saying 'This effect requires GPU acceleration'. I cannot do this at all and spent over a whole day trying to fix this to no avail - is there a solution to this? If so, can it please be explained to me in workmanlike terms, because I feel like Premiere Pro is not worth using with me being unable to fix this.

 

A million thanks in advance if any one of you kind people could assist in a solution!

Hello, In the latest i update i have bizzare and really troubling issue. On a project I was working on cc2018, that has h264 and prores files, when I try to playback the prores files, the program screen comes black and then nothing else plays. Even other projects woth h264 files until I reboot premiere. It seems to have an issue with the Nvidia 1070ti (latest drivers) and Prores. I m on a pc i7, 32gb Ram, Windows 10 64bits

 

I see that it happens and cc2018 also, and the source screen plays the some files, some dont, but nothing on the program screen before everything come to black!

 

When I switch to Software encoder I get a red and white mosaic pattern in the program monitor where Prores footage should be!

Hello all,

I open an older version indesign document in 2019, and try to convert text to outlines, and it deforms, changes the adjustments of the text, changes the text frame width, leaving the outlined text with kerning errors. I have checked the fonts for any error, they seem to be fine. Anyone having the same problem?

I'm thinking of buying Acrobat Standard 2017.  Can it convert someone's static form into a fillable form?  For example, if there's a form at a website that would normally have to be downloaded and printed before it could be filled out by hand, could that form be fed into Acrobat Standard 2017 and made "fillable", as can be done when using the Acrobat DC version?  To say it another way, I'd like to be able to fill out all fields in a form using my keyboard, not my ink pen.

I have downloaded the adobe acrobat app for my iphone 7. Previously I was able to download pdf documents and open them from the app. However, now when I select the adobe acrobat app, the home screen freezes, on the symbol with Adobe Acrobat Reader and nothing happens, even if I leave it open for 5 minutes.

 

I've tried deleting the app and downloading a new version about 5 times. Each time I close the app fully, but the same issue recurs whenever I try to use the app.

 

Is there a way around this?
